Until they are in worst condition....

And it is spelled, 'beggar'; one who begs,one who lives by begging, a mean fellow, a poor fellow.

Prima facie it is in favor of the beggars but if the donor gives the alms with sympathy, with due respect to them as fellow human beings, with good intentions and pure mind, it may generate a good Karma and in future  the things may go in his favor.

So it really depends upon how each one us see the aspects of it ???

Giving alms to beggars ,it depends  what is the condition of that beggar?. I normally give to very old beggars and some time i cant bear the site of woman's carrying children's.

Some time if there is no options then i give money or prefer to give food items.
