Hurricane Andrew in FL when I was 13.

House got torn up while I was in there.

Most of the night it was hitting, I spent the night in a small room with my whole family. My father had to hold the door shut because the windows throughout the house were broken and we had wind and things flying thru the house and out the house.

Tiles fell from the roof, landed on our cars. Almost everything in the house got wet. No electricity for weeks... Downed trees and power lines were blocking almost all roads...

Since then, I've riden out a few more storms, none that bad...

I have a few! Last one was Rita! Winds were gusting way over 100 mph. It was scarey. We were at our neighbors house and a tree fell on their bedroom! That tripped me out! So we decided to run down to our house down the road to make sure a tree had not fallen on our house. The storm was not as bad at that time, but it was crazy running in that high wind!

I have a new baby now though so I will not be staying for this one if it comes towards SE Texas!

I stayed for a category 2 hurricane a few years ago,I forgot the name of it though.

Sure, lived in Puerto Rico for a while and lived through a couple.
