How many of you actually do believe in Ghosts or Paranormal activity?

Lately, I've gotten better at watching ghost films, (NOT SAW or Bloody c**p) I mean stuff like the films The Orphinage and Fragile. Really good, highly recommend them. I also saw a film based on a true even in Europe about 3 kids who murdered an Austrian couple, the kids were 10-15. Anyhow, so I have never seen anything in my life. I was scared all the time from my family, they are hard core catholics. Always telling me if I did something wrong the devil would get me and such things. I am still skeptical and religious on this subject, but I do have an interest in this area. Should I believe or not believe? I mean I am one of these people that believes its all fake. Make me believe.

I believe there are spirits out there...im confused do you believe in ghosts??? You either believe in them or not, no one can make you believe....all together i can say that i do believe in ghosts (spirits)

I'm a Catholic as well and I'm also a medium. I believe, very firmly, because it's proven itself to me. I can't prove it to you. You have to find it for yourself. But things like this DO exist. But the truth about the Devil is that He only has the power you give him. Light will always be stronger than darkness. Your faith will quite frankly keep you safe from "the devil getting you." Telling kids things like that is what parents do to scare their kids into behaving.

But... I also believe in angels, because I've seen them. It's not all bad and scary like it is in the movies. There's quite a lot more good than bad, but the good stuff doesn't make a good scary movie, you know? Don't believe everything you see on TV. lol

I don't know why you would want to believe in things are not real.

Harry Potter is a great movie too but you probably don't want us to try and convince you that you can really sign up for a course of wizardry at Hogwarts?

I dont know with the amount of positive response I am amazed. I myself dont believe in ghost. There is something which science cant explain but its not the ghost we believe. It may be an energy which we are yet to discover but not Ghost

When I first saw a shadow person, it was a male figure, about 6' 3", lanky, and wore a top hat like our President Lincoln.

What lead me to see him was that I had just got home from school and needed to use the bathroom.

So as I'm running around the corner, I "bumped" into him, I excused myself quickly, and shot into the bathroom. It wasn't until I was sitting on the toilet when I had realized what had just happened.

I wasn't creeped out or scared. Lots of weird things happened in that house.

But my point is that you don't even realize what has happened until it's over, and then you're like, "did I just see something?"

Religion has a way of distorting logical thinking.

I grew up hearing the fire and brimstone riot act god was going to inflict on my soul too, but then I rationalized why be afraid of something that has never made its presence known?

I know for a fact that spirits exist on the other side as I have seen many and so has other members of my family seen and heard the same spirits at the same and at different times.My Father has appeared in a photo that was taken not long after his death. We have all seen or heard dead pets still around. We were raised Catholic but I am more Spiritual as I have seen and heard things the church would like us to ignore.Some people are more sensitive to seeing and hearing the spirits on the Other -side, alot of them children and animals.People are brainwashed into Not believing, where as children and animals haven't been told yet that this and that are not so.You are more likely to see a spirit in the Twilight hours --before you fall asleep or just when you waken.My sister and I had seen and heard spirits at the same time and alot of times it was after we were sent to bed for acting up by our Mother. The spirit would deliberatly scare us as punishment. My sister and I shared the same room. You could hear the footsteps of the spirit and hear him breathing as he got closer but this spirit was NOT visable. We knew it was a Man spirit because on one occasion he made a ghostly sound like you would hear at halloween, real loud and my sister and I freaked out. It wasn't any trick on my Mothers part as it was right there in our room. The air was tence and it felt like terrifing evil... The ghosts or spirits that I have seen all had clothes on.So The ol ' saying that you can't take it with you when you go, doesn't ring true.I'm not sure what determines what you wear, maybe it's how the Spirit imagines himself to look..Some say that It is determined by how the spirit wants to be seen by you, but my sister seen my dead Aunt and My Aunt's spirit wasn't facing my sister head on before she walked right through our living room wall.So my dead Aunt may not even of known she was seen.I have been waken up on a few occasions by my dead dogs spirit  l*****g my face at the side of my bed.I had a cat who use to meow to come in and out of the garage which was attached to the house. After he died in his sleep I had heard him meow to come in from the garage but all I could think of was that I guess he didn't know that he was dead . I only heard that a few times and then I guess he finally figured out he didn't need me to open the door for him to come in .. I can go on but I want to read your other answers. Good question!

i study paranormal i strongly believe in ghost and demons ect ect i have been to a few houses and building that i have seen them on pics and recorded them and also emp on tape from orbs ectoplasm vortex ect ect  i been into it ever since i was  child when i seen some thing that look like my dad but yet i seen it in the corner of my eye but when i turned and look at it it disappeared  and my dad is alive so i belive they can come to u in many forms and shapes

I to come from a hardcore catholic family but in my life time iv had to many unexplainable experiences to not believe. My Grandmother is the most staunch catholic in our family but she swears to this day on the day of my grandfathers funeral she walked passed her bathroom and saw him in the shower she ignored it and thought she was seeing things until my cousin piped up and said she to had seen a vision of him she had seen him sitting on the couch that morning watching the news as he would regularly do but didn't think anything of it thinking she was seeing things until my grandmother said she to had seen him.

That's just one experience iv had but its enough to make me believe in the after life.

Ok since your catholic then you have heard of the father, the son and the holy what? Yeah the next word is "Ghost" with words like that in your own religion how could you not believe in ghosts? Yes! Ghost are real and Yes! I have experienced them first hand several times in my life.
