Seriously, how many have taken the time to research what was happening before all of this was on the news.

the link below will take you to an interesting site, then will show you to the EU embassy site. the correspondence of all events for a long time is quite interesting.

  1. Me.

Georgia's website is not a reliable source, unless you read it side-by-side with it's Russian counterpart.

    Edit:

I'm seeing a bunch of Georgia's allies agreeing with them. Everyone has an agenda. You can't simply pick only one source if you want truth.

  2. Funny how you ask a question about what people know and then tear them down when they don't agree with your opinionated facts. You side with the Georgians, just like the other paranoid countries that get their information from former satellite nations.

Oh, and this site is run mainly under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Georgia. What else do you think the Georgians would say? The information comes directly from a one-sided source! If you had done your own research, you would see that there are other nations that know the other sides of the story. And for those that do not have a nation due to a certain other nation obstructing them, they don't really have much of a voice in this. Imagine that. Doesn't anyone wonder why the Georgians would have such problems with constant raids? It's because of what the Georgians denied of these Ossetians.

Can you really blame the South Ossetians for this? They are not so different from our own Native Americans...

  3. I have read the national and international news sources on the topic in three different languages, and feel I am well informed on the topic from many perspectives.
