How many of you actually thought Paul Pierce flashed a gang sign during the Boston vs Atlanta series?

How would anyone's mind think gang sign? I thought he was saying he'll beat them in 3 or some how signifying the big 3. The last thing I'd ever think of is a gang sign.

pierce grew up in Inglewood, CA. he lived in blood territory. he threw up a gang sign. and he still has known friends in the community that are or were former gang members connected to the bloods.

I don't. I really think that the NBA is racist towards its black players and they can't catch a break most times.

Using hand signals to signify various things are prevalent in today's society.  For example, holding three fingers up to signify the "Big Three" in Boston may be misconstrued as a gang sign because the person showing it is a minority.

Also, everyone in the audience at "So You Think You Can Dance" or "America's Best Dance Crew" seems to have gotten the same e-mail about hand signals, but those people look like they're from "the Valley" or suburbs and are harmless, but would caution them from using those hand signals out on the street to avoid getting shot.....

I think that unless you're a gang member, or from "the hood", flashing signs with your hands is very risky and could get you killed, if you don't know what your hand signals really signify.....  Please use caution, especially the wannabes, the non-street hardened, and those that wish they were from the hood.
