So know you folks are gonna say that SL won the series cause of this.

Good One and true the srilankan umpires have changed the rules to benefit their team.

Poor umpiring has been the highlight of the series and also technology was misused to favor the home team.

Here's an example of that exact situation happening.

England well set in a test match in Sri Lanka, Kevin Pietersen looking strong at the crease, Pietersen edges the ball to gully, the ball looks like it hasnt carried but the Sri Lankans claim the catch.

The umpires gives the benefit of the doubt to the fielder, and says the catch was cleanly taken without even looking at a replay!!

The replays show that the catch was not cleanly taken and that the umpire was wrong. Kevin Pietersen is wrongly out, and England go on to collapse after being in a good position.

It cannot be so. It is the mistake of the umpire to give one out or not out.

absolutely ! if you see the dismissal replays of FAB4 in tests, all were struck of dubious LBWs and this is happening even in ODI series, so i would say its happening reverse in Sri Lanka, the benefit of doubt is going to SL bowlers instead of the batsmen !

All LBWs that are doubtful or "stumped out"  doubts usually go in favor of the Batsmen everywhere. But in this series, including Tests, they all went in favor of SL. They show umpteen replays and doubts, then give it to SL. Home team.

So no doubt that here, I agree with the Q.
