Both my sister and I were homeschooled most of our lives.  She didn't like it, but she's a follow the crowd type of person.  Now she's unmarried and pregnant with the child of a guy who doesn't respect her.  I love it and it has presented it with more opportunities than I know what to do with.

Actually I home school my son; when he goes to bed, I'm teaching myself geometry -- never got up to the high level maths when I was in school.   Any questions I cannot find solutions to, Yahoo Answers can save the day!

Verbal abuse by teachers  running ramped in public school, although I had the greatest history teacher there has ever lived!!!!!

I homeschool my three kids.  We love it.  I like that they're home and safe and out of the scary, destructive environment if our local public school.  They like that they get to choose what they want to learn about and that there's no homework!  We all like that we only school in the mornings, so the afternoons are spent on workshops, play arrangements, outings, field trips, sports, arts and nature activities.  My two eldest are into motocross.  When their school work and chores are done, they can ride as much as they want and because there's no homework, the evenings and weekends are freed up for whatever they want to do.

im sorry my opinion u dont have to follow it....................

well i believe that you HAVE to go to a public school in order to be considered normal. i mean what does only being with ur brother or sister teach u. u need to be socilize not be taught by ur parents. u need to learn to cope with things other than 2+2=89. u r gonna run into some problems in the future u wont be able to solve in the future. like about drama u will probally react at the first second. and boyfriend ur parents will probally teach u that BOYS R BAD!!! but they arent. sure u will have a couple of friends ur parents approve of. but ur missing alot about what a NORMAL kid does their high school years. like homecoming, sports, relationships, drama, and alot of other things. to anwser ur question NOOOO WAY do i want to be home schooled. id rather kill myself. (no offense to all u who r homeschooled)

im not but there have been times when i wished i was lyk when we have had the summer holidays in scotland which usually last 4, 6 weeks and we have 2 go back and i get upset and annoyed and nervous cos i dont want 2 go back!!!!!!!!!
