  1. not mad, just surprised that the last shot didnt go in...the good thing is they stuck around and congratulated the wings...they will be back next year

  3. There is nothing to be mad about, they had an excellent season and they are a very young team.  They will hopefully have more opportunities in the future.

  4. Well the Red Wings really deserved it they played well. I was cheering for the Pens, but I must say that their time will come. Look at the team they have! It's great. Congrats to you Pens fans, your team took you to the finals, something every hockey fan wants. CONGRATULATION TO THE DETROIT REDWINGS, THE 2007/2008 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS!

    The 2008/2009 Champions will be....

    Fleury fell on his butt and let the puck go by! Can't believe I saw that. And ALMOST tieing the game in the final second,too. AWWWGHH!

  12. I'm not mad because they lost to a better team. I'm disappointed they couldn't outplay and win. Totally different feeling, and not even disappointed in them because they did their best. Really that is just the best word I can think of.

  14. I'm a Wings fan so naturally I'm elated they won. My only disappointments were the tactics some of the Pens resorted to to try and intimidate. It was like Flyers Redux. I hope they reject the cheap shots in the future and play with the skill and flair they exhibited in their previous series. Leave the head punches, slashes, and hits from behind to the team from Philadelphia.

Not happy about it but they'll be back next year and they'll win it this expererce will help this Young Strong Team, remember Edmonton losing in 1983 to the NY Islanders well they came back and won the Cup the Next Year and they we're a young team The Pens will be back and win the Cup I Promise.

  21. I think that both teams are excellent and deserving, however, i think that tonight, the Red Wings win was cheap with the Fleury goal and all. I just wish it would have been a better, more fair game

  22. As a Detroiter, I felt awful for Fleury. This was an exciting series. Pens are a great team, but I'm glad the cup is in Hockeytown again.

  24. Not mad... just disappointed my favorite team didn't win the Cup. I can't be mad, when the better team won. Also, how it was a great Stanley Cup Final. One of the best Finals in years.

    We will be back to the Stanley Cup finals next year, and defintley for more years to come. But even the great ones lose Stanley Cups their first time(Wayne Gretsky). So we are defintley going to win a couple of Stanley Cups when we have the likes of Malkin, Crosby, Fleury, Hossa, Sykora, Malone, Staal, and many more players like that.

    Actually,  I was thrilled to keep watching and for one series, the final one...I was a Wings fan!!!

    I watched that Cup being skated around and I am looking forward to seeing it back in Dallas NEXT YEAR!!!

    Stars winning in 2008/2009!!!

    Detroit was destined to win this year....Pens have an excellant club and I really enjoyed the series. Congrats to you all too.

  31. I'm not mad.. I'm from Pittsburgh and I'm a pens fan, but I'm happy for the wings.

    Trust me, the pens are years ahead of their time.

    They'll get them next year, and every year after that. :D

    OHHH, Evgeni ! He finally snapped back.. but it was a little too late.. if only he played like the first 5 games...
