Just curious how many of you might vote for someone that seems to be all for another shot at the crusades...

  1. It's not a crusade.  And I would say it has become a task, he knew that we would do this, he knows all.  I think it is a good idea to have that pipeline, I don't know maybe it is Gods will.

  2. WOW... just frickin WOW... didn't we base the constitution for this country on the basis of SEPARATION OF CHURCH and STATE!

I think she needs to take a refresher course in politics with this statement and the question she had about what the VP does in office!

this will set well with the rest of the world that already hates us due to two terms of hidden agenda bullying!

puppet, just like good ol' George dubbyah

  3. I think she is full of bullsh*t.........she needs to stop her stupid c**p because it's useless and we all know it... america is going to h**l

  4. Uh oh. Somebody get the hook.....

  5. I wonder if god will be kicking into the war kitty?

  6. Like I said yesterday, she makes my skin crawl.

You've named 2 of the reasons.

  7. I really couldn't believe it when I read that news yesterday. I still have my hand in my face out of frustration.

Anyhow I think the party itself is alluding to the religious conservative vote it missed with Huckabee out of the race.

  8. depends on which God !

anyone can follow mammon and call "them" God. and still believe in their own God and still think their God is YOUR God.

  9. Palin is an idiot

    Enough said...

  10. of course it is, god wants oil for bush and money for mccain. he also likes to watch people die, that's a hobby of his.

  11. Getting votes is the game.

  12. a lot of gods people think god decides everything for the world and because they believe in him he helps them and punishes the others...its dumb

  13. Oh, is she saying that now?

    What a douche.

  14. HOLY c**p?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

    are you serious!!!!

she's is gonna be totally bible this and bible that.

shes gonna let her religious views run our country.

c**p. its times like this when it sucks that i cant vote yet!!!!!!!

  15. Didnt Jesus say, exact quote: "Do violence to no man". Luke 3:14

  16. I cant believe how many people actually think anyone went to war in Iraq (including Bush) because they thought it was a task from God.

If any atheist falls for this kind of political spin then they have no business criticizing religious people for believing in God.

Its politics people!   Its called pandering.  Its called getting people to support your cause or issue.

Anyone that actually thinks Bush went to war because God told him to is truly a gullible tool being used by the libs.

    water

plenty of people actually do believe that she believes that and that Bush believed that

and if you think Obama hasnt pandered to the exact same voters then you are just closing your eyes to whatever goes against your own point of view

Obama was right there with McCain in that Saddleback church.  The dems make it a point to campaign in black churches.

    How onesided can you be?

If this is only about pandering, which thank goodness at least you admit because plenty of people on here wont admit it and do believe the spin, then apply the same standards to the other side, too!

  17. First, I would guess that the somewhere between 100,000 and 1 million dead civilians in Iraq would disagree with Palin... as well as everyone else living in the mess that we have made of that country in the past few years.  But yeah, no doubt God wanted us to cause about 100 times as many innocent deaths in Iraq as someone (not Iraq) caused here in America on 9/11.

Second, I think that a potential world leader (as a VP candidate is) should know better than to basically tell everyone in the Middle East that we (as a western power) are engaged in a Holy Crusade.  (Her comment is tantamount to that).  They are still a bit sensitive about that sort of thing, considering past experience with crusades.

The ultimate answer, though, is that Palin is McCain's blatant and cynical outreach to the "religious right" fringe element, which has been lukewarm on him so far (at best).  So she is willing to say whatever it takes to win over the nut jobs who think that any war that a Republican president starts is God's will.

  18. Palin is a munipulative fundamentalist pretender... oh, and she's apparently an idiot, as she's not allowed to do interviews, per McCain...

If she can't handle the media, how's she gonna handle the big boys around the globe? Hillary never shied away from interviews...   Palin is a puppet of the repug party...
