  1. lame

  2. Yes we are!! God Bless America

McCain in 08 all the way

  3. Unfortunately, the less educated Republicans and their ilk chose not to understand the metaphor Obama was making.  Religion and guns in that context mean predjudices and fears.  So when gun nuts and religious zealots sport those pithy bumper stickers indicating that they are proudly clinging to their religion and guns, what they're really saying is that they refuse to give up their predjudice and fear.

Alas, how do we move forward as a nation and as a human race when so many of us choose to live in fear?  I guess we have to accept that the progress is so slow and steady that we can't see the arc of it during our short lifetimes.

  4. i got my first gun when i was 10....you better get one. you know whats coming??????????

    it aint christmas....

  5. I cling to my religion AND my gun, and I am a Democrat and helplessly unemployed in an impoverished area, no thanks to the republicans.

And I'm not moving away from my friends and family to a BIG city.

What do you say about that?

  6. I have my 1911 sitting right next to me as I type.

  7. My religion was part of my upbringing. I'm required to wear a gun for work. I spend too much time on YA. So, I guess you can count me in on that one.

  8. It is easy for me.

I don't know much about religion but I love guns ☺

    I see no conflict.

  9. I usually keep my S&W 1009 holstered and one of my Bibles within close reach...I find this makes the keyboard/mouse MUCH easier to use and I can always - look up Scripture verses on Bible websites and can draw/unsafety/target acquire all within two seconds, so it isn't that much of a bother...

  10. I don't cling to religion (I am atheist) and I don't cling to guns (don't have one)

I am still bitter and unemployed though

  11. It's not that hard.  I hold my religion under my arm.

  12. Yes, using the Bible to carry out everything that goes against the teachings of Jesus and endorsing war and bloodshed.

I think what's truly amazing is you don't realize how hypocritical you are.

By the way, just to let you know---it's now September, you know, half a year after that statement was uttered. Maybe focus on the latest mishaps, like the entire Republican campaign.

  13. The sight keeps getting caught on the next key row...

  14. So let me get this straight, cling to religion, guns, and hatred for poor people who Palin calls "thugs". Just wow!

And they say they have morals!

  15. I type with one hand while I'm praying the Republicans get disbanded, just like the rest of the folks in rural areas.

  16. One is with me all the time. The other locked in a cabinet.

The reverse is true for Obama and his henchmen.

  17. Better then hanging with criminals

  18. This is a stupid question.  I refuse to cling to either.

I agree with Arg!  Use common sense people.

  19. Yes sir, I surely can. Not to mention going to union meetings. Us typical white folk gotta stick together.
