How many of you fire firearms on New Years Eve...?

Question

You do realize that what goes up must come down and innocent people, sometimes children, are killed? Please do not fire weapons into the air. Just thought I'd send out a message. Thanks

NEVER NEVER NEVER. I watch the news and often wonder where the bullets hit and who was hurt.  We had a case a couple of years ago where a 1 year old in her grandmothers arms was hit.  The baby survived but how can people be so stupid?

In LA they shoot fully automatic weapons on new year.

definitely a bad idea.

and while you could hurt someone with a tumbling bullet falling out of the sky, however unlikely... just imagine the drunk doofuses... doofi?  that are handling the guns in the first place?  scary.

i remember being over at my uncles and he had the crazy idea of firing off a gun... they found the pistol but couldnt find any ammo so the Let My Little Cousin Play With the "unloaded" pistol.  I remember the little @#$% pointing it at my Dad's head and CLICK!  I took it away from him and (bless the NRA for having ONE good idea) quickly opened it to see if it was loaded... it had TWO shells IN IT!.

GREAT!  They are playing reverse Russian Roulette with my Dad's head.  Can't say I have EVER thought as well of that side of my family since.

I don't believe it. Do people really do that in the USA? That's not just disturbing, it's insane.

i don't do that, but where i use to live my neighbors would fire guns. i've avoided the firecrackers all together because i know that firecrackers can be dangerous and i know some people are firing guns.
