  1. It is a great experience. The most wonderful place in this planet. Very different type of feelings.

Dear sr_engr, some people totally disappeared in the US because they used to go to mosques.

What you say about Saudi is not right. You have the right to practice any religion but not in public.

  2. I go there every summer,,, it is the most comfortable place in the world

P.S : sr_eng  Also I am a Muslim And if I prayed at the vatican in puplic I will be arrested

  3. I'm a Christian.  If I prayed in public in Saudi they would punish me.  If I started a bible-study I could be deported.  If a Saudi citizen joined the study they could be executed.

Here is what the US Department of State says about it:

  4. Salam Allah alykum ,  Ã˜Â±Ã˜Â§Ã™Â…ي

This journey, is very spiritual, just to sit on  the floor of Al masjed Al Haram, and look at Al Kaaba, I always pray the five prayers in Jammah , Al Ra soul (SAWS) said , one prayer in this masjed equals to 10000 more than any other prayer in other mosques

I have noticed , a kind of birds flying and roaming around the Kaaba, and over the heads of the prayers Muslims, but they never fly over Al Kaaba , those birds are additional peaceful mood to the place

If your hotel would be near the mosque, then you can, return to it after the Jamaah prayer, if it is far, you can sit at the mosque, recite from the Qur'an or doing any thing else , until the time for the next prayer .

How do you memorize the Qur'an, I mean where and how ? and do you learn it with Tajweed !! Iam just curious .

  5. the people living in mecca or close by do go and pray all 5 times in the haram. i'm from jeddah and we go every chance we get since it's only an hour drive...we would love to go every day or every weekend but the truth is life gets to us and we get caught up in many things but we still try to go as much as we can manage... and madinah...we love to go there but the most popular time for jeddawis is during the colder months and during hajj when the crowds are still in mecca.... ofcourse during ramadan and hajj the entire west coast becomes so crowded with muslims from all over the world...so people like me (saudis who live in jeddah) try to take umrah at least once during ramadan but we try to give the visitors the priority since they waited a long time and went through a lot to come and only have a limited time before going back to thier countries...

one more thing, i know it's 6 months too early but: congratulations!

  6. well, when i'm in saudi i can easily go there.

  7. well I dont live in the western region of Saudi... but I would love to.. If i had the chance. yes, Id go as much as possible to pray there.. it would be such a wonderful soul lifting experience.. and humbling to see so many diverce peoples from all over the world.. ^_^
