I have an organic garden and grow my own tomatoes, beans, squashes, spinach, asparagus,  melons, potatoes. They taste much better than those supermarket  stuffs and healthier.  Most of my neighbors  have gardens too.

Yes...over 1000 sq ft of it...Have two varieties of cukes, watermelons, bush beans, two varieties of potatoes, two varieties of peas, pole beans, three varieties of tomatoes, two varieties of peppers, two varieties each of carrots and beets, HUGE cabbages, broccoli, swiss chard, four varieties of lettuce, onions, spinach, zucchini, yellow summer squash, sunflowers, several varieties of gourds, pumpkins, broom corn and ornamental popcorn..i think thats it...we can and freeze a lot for winter use...really depend on it.

It's not that I have a garden, rather my garden has me.  There are flowers and vegetables and trees, and they hold me captive most nights and weekends, toiling only for them.

I have a rock flower garden out front and a wall around my foundation packed with Hostas,bulbs, ferns, and annuals, an herb garden in the back, and bushes everywhere.  I also have a couple of tomato plants to avoid the Great Tomato Scare of 2008.

me.....with tomatoes...peppers hot an sweet...pumpkins....lettuce...string beans...zucinni...corn..i love doing this every year...i can all the tomatoes so i have it all year long..the pumpkins i cook an make bread an pies all year...an the  hot peppers i string an dry out...the herbs such as basil   lemon balm an my spearmint i also dry.

I have a floral garden. 3 gardenias, 2 coral honeysuckles, i star jasmine, several clematis, zillions of spicy scented petunias, variegated hydrangea, calidiums, astibles, freesias, day lilies, a fig tree, a mars grape vine on our pergola and 21 crepe myrtles and several clematis and a palm tree... Now I'm ready to plant more.

I have several different ones in my yard. Veggie garden, rock/cactus garden, several flower beds, and a pond garden. The more they grow, the more I want to plant!
