  1. Been to Italy once: Tuscany and Florence. Really beautiful, great food, nice people.

  2. Yeah...its surreal being there. I had a great time.

  3. Italy is amazing. Each region has something special that makes you go 'wow!'. My favourites would be Rome as its just incredible  - every where you look is history. I also love Sicily and Sorrento. I wish I was there now!

  4. I have been there, I went to Aviano, which is a military base and we traveled to Tresse and Venice.  I have to say that visiting the towns not populated by toursist is the best way to experience Italy.  If you plan on going, gather some information prior to the main city you plan on visiting, there are so many quaint little towns that are just as treasurable to visit.

  5. I don't know, I have never been!

  6. Zero

  7. its wonderful i went to rome , venice, florence and the isle of capri  if you get the chance to go dont turn it down

  8. yeah it's nice

  9. both of my grandparents grew up in italy and my whole life i wanted to go there it is the best place ever they were both born in south italy but i want to go north to ski

  10. yeh....its great, the only bad thing is the smoking, but otherwise the foods great the people are great and the atmosphere you live in is great!

  11. Yes lots of times  No1 place in europe

  12. Italy is beautiful.  My wife and I visited Italy 3 times before deciding to get married there.  Actually, we got married in Jamaica, but our church wedding was in Florence.  We always do the big-3 (Roma, Firenze, Venezia or Milano), and add on the side trips to Toscano, Capri, Napoli, or Sicili.  You will love it.

  13. Yes. By turns stunning (history and scenery) and heartbreaking (little kid pickpockets).

If you can go ... go.

  14. My cousin lives there so I go every year (for the last 5).  I am leaving this Sunday for 2 weeks.  It is not only beautiful and friendly but the history is awe inspiring.  Two years ago I took my daughter and her friend for the 1st time.  My cousin was getting married in a palace on the Grand Canal in Venice.  From the time we exited the plane I don't think she closed her mouth.  She just kept saying WOW!!!!! She is in her 20's and was able to make several friends in the short time we were there.  Every city has something more to offer than the last.  My cousin is able to take me to places most tourists don't get to go, but it doesn't matter because everywhere is spectacular.  When you consider that a lot of the cities are from midevial times, it adds even more wonder to the country.   Oh, and the foods good too.

  15. I have been there several times. My father is full blooded Italian that grew up in Florence. Yes, it is beautiful with more art and fresco than you can shake a stick at. I highly recommend going to the mother country.

  16. I lived in Italy for 5 years. It was nowhere near enough. If I lived there for 55 years I still wouldn't be able to see everything worth seeing. Its just simply that beautiful.

  17. I've been all over Italy.  I loved it, and I can't wait to go again.

  18. it`s better than everyone says!!!

    ......but it`s worse too........

i mean....it`s a wanderful country (and the food is the best in the world!).......but there`s also a lot of problems.............

as we italians are....lot of talent but lot of caos too ( for example lots of good scientists in the world are italian but they have to work in froreign countries.....)

if you want to know more abuot italy contact me.......... and sorry for my bad english! :)

    ciao!

  19. been there so many times!! my mum is from Sardinia and i lived 3 jears in milano...

la sardegna is amazing!! just the smell of the air...

milano is good to go shopping and to see il duomo, but it is also very dirty, smog, and the traffic jam is just crazy, but still, i loved it!
