Did you like it? Cause I though it was disgusting. If you don't know what it is or have not had it, then don't answer!

  1. When I worked in Iqaluit we had it on the menu, with other northern delicacies, like musk ox, caribou, ptarmigan and snowshoe rabbit.

Also is in the serving whether it is a pleasant experience, we froze it sliced it thin like carpacio and served it on cold plates with various sauces for dipping, the traditional way is just raw, I have had seal flipper when in Newfoundland, another acquired taste experience.

  2. not dat i know of!!

    ugh..

    dat even sounds nasty.

but im willin to try everythin once!

  3. no thank you, I saw the blood bath on No Resv with AB --- looked like elbow deep surgery!

  4. it was very good it was very surprizing

  5. I saw that Eskimo lady on Oprah, and she had brought some with her from Alaska for Oprah to try. Wouldn't you know it-- Oprah chickened out.

I'd try it, but not a huge piece at first. After all, the lady described it as Eskimo candy and claimed it is delicious.

  6. I have a reputation for eating anything. I had it when installing some equipment in Northern Alaska. I always eat what the locals do. Went on a seal hunt with the village men. If you had to live in those conditions ( cold ) you would learn to appreciate the calorie requirements. I did not think it was bad at all. Needed salt, which we added by dipping in sea water. But then my favorite part of a good rare beef steak is the fat. On toast.
