How many of you have problems w/ John and Kate Plus 8?

Question

I do not like my show, and I understand that it might be hard having a tv crew in your house, but seriously I hardly see them love on their kids, I see them hurry them out of a room or send them to timeout but I hardly ever see them hug or really praise their kids. Anyone else feel this way.

I dont have a problem with jon and kate plus 8 htye have 8 children 1 set of twins and one set of sextuplets how do you think you would feel if you had 6 children at 1 time? plus a set of twins its hard enough taking care of one baby but 8 is a job on its own whether you think you're ready or you can handle it or not  and so what if they had fertility treatments those treatments are really only supposed to get you twins or maybe even quints but it very rare. I think they show all the love they can possibly show on camera besides they mushy stuff was not why they got the show in the first place the point of the show is to show america how hard it is to have so many kids at one time not just getting pregnant 6 or 7 times to have 8 kids

No, the producers show the most extreme behavior.  So sometimes she seems snappy at her husband and children, but over all I think they seem like a nice family.

Sadly, lovey dovey stuff doesn't get ratings.

well i have never watched the show so i can not say my comment on them but i have seen other shows and plenty of people i know who have a lot of kids and every time a new child is added after a certain number the love goes lower and the discipline gets higher. its easier to yell at the kid or put them in a corner then it is to stop and talk to them and show them support. you have less and less time with each child.

i think kate acts like motherhood is a chore or a job that she has to do and doesnt express a whole lot of joy.  i am sure i would be a mess if i had that many babies but they did it to themselves with fertility treatments

The life seems to focus around Kate because Kate is the one that spends the most time at home with the children, if Jon worked from home, or was the one staying home, then you would see how he did things.  It's simple logistics, kidding, cuddling hugging don't get ratings, as that probably happens often.

I watched the show once with my wife, and it stressed me out so I don't watch it any longer. I hope they do a special when all the kids grow up and leave home at the same time. lol. I guess the show has it's merits, but being something to relax with is not one of them. ;)

uhm, they don't 'love' the kids?? so i guess goin to the zoo, hershey land, amuzement parks, picnics... is nothing!!!

I've seen them be very loving, and they know their children's personalities very well.  I'm sure editing plays the biggest part in it.

I like that show but in a way i kinda find it fake!!! I mean how come they get to have a show when there are how many other families out there that have like 10 kids!! And yea the do punish them a lot! But their kids are cute!! =)

Well, having EIGHT small kids is a HUGE job .. I can't even imagine!!

Just remember that they don't show their lives 24/7. ;-)

I actually give them a ton of credit just to be able to go through their everyday lives without going completely crazy!

No! I don't have any problems with them, I love watch Jon And Kate plue eight. I love that show and honest it hard would. I know they love their all kids but you don't see it becaue they might not show on tv. I see couple of times They kiss them. They took them to Disney World.. That has to cost of money for them.  John changed his job so he could be home more to see his children grow and spend time with them.
