  1. Ok, that one was hard for me. When I was playing in HS. I had football, HS classes, and a college course. It's extremely stressful. However, it can be overcome. Create a written daily schedule with every event. Example:

    Monday

    6-7am Prepare for school

    7-8am drive to school

    8-9am Math Class (Exam today)

9-10am College English Class (Paper Due)

    10-11am Chemistry (Class)

    11-12pm Lunch

    12-1pm Study Hall

1-2pm History Class (read pgs. 114-150)

    2-5pm free time

    5-8pm Football practice

    8-9pm Dinner

    9-10pm Free time.

This type of schedule will allow you to distinguish your free times. looking at the schedule you will learn you have about 3 hrs after school as freetime. Well, your parents want chores done. Ok, now you really have 2 hrs. Instead of watching TV, do your homework and study for exams. (Not fun, but gets the job done!) But you still have lunch period to study also. Not always the greatest place to study, but is great for last minute touch ups on projects, papers, or preparation for exams. Also on Saturday and Sunday, take the time to once again study. Everyonce and a while you will get a slow weekend. That's a woderful time to relax and maybe go to a party. (But don't drink, it causes you to stress out more!!!) Sports abd Academics are not an easy combination. But it creates great discipline for college sports. A high GPA allows you to get into very prestigious schools such as UF, USC, Texas, OU, OSU, ect. Hopefully this will help you out! : )
