work for the government ?...including indirectly...

Did you know the Federal Government is the nations largest employer ?

Since Bush took office we've seen the largest increase in Federal programs /spending...in history !

Part of the "job creation" that Bush touted throughout his presidency was the result of this increase,....where the Federal government contracts out to private companies, even though they could do it using current employees of the government for less.., They did this in order to show job creation "on paper" in the private sector, and avoid paying for those famous government benefits packages..

Are you a Republican who works for the government ?, and if so, when do you plan on quiting your job ?

  1. That just sounds republican to me---they also outsourced real jobs not creating enough new jobs(if they did create a few they paid a lot less), they also gave out big contracts to companies for Iraq WITHOUT the required bidding---sounds just like republican---white, male, old, rich---greedy....

  2. I'm a conservative who works in the military and I don't plan on quitting until at least my initial term of service and honor is up.

Is it lonely up there on that pedestal?

And thanks for the free points. proves even a senseless question like this can serve a purpose in the greater scheme of things.

  3. i a consertive republican, who believes small government is best .....bush is ok ,but not a hero of mine

  4. Some government jobs are authorized by the Constitution (the military) and some are not (social security administration, medicare, medicaid, welfare, etc.).

I do not work for a government department and would never work for one that is unconstitutional. It is not a matter of larger or smaller government, it is a matter of following the Constitution. Of course, if you follow the Constitution then you will, by design and definition, have a small federal government.

  5. I don't work for the government.
