  1. I do not think he can became top wicket taker.

  2. i think so he may not

  3. If wonder boy ajantha Mendis continues to progress like this, he will beat the records of master  Muralitharan ~

what else can we expect from a human..~

  4. Ajantha Mendis has definitely been a gr8 find for cricket and he surely looks to be the player of the future. He can definitely be one of the highest wicket takers given his performances in the current series.

However, he is still new and fresh. Once, players get used to playing him more then we have to wait and find out how he excels against the great players in world cricket.

  5. World's greatest bowler ever was Sydney F Barnes. He took 7 wickets per match conceding 16.43 runs per wicket and needed just 42 balls to take a wicket. If Mendis continues to progress like this, he will beat the records of not only Muralitharan but also Sydney Barnes. He will become the greatest test match bowler ever and will certainly capture 1,000 test match wickets. In the process, he will push up Sri Lanka to the world's number 1 team status.

  6. i don't think so

  7. im sure this could not happen. to take wickets from this speed...

  8. Ajantha Mendis has definitely been a gr8 find for world cricket

  9. He has the ability.

All the best for him in the future!!!!!!!!

  10. Maybe nobody knows

maybe one day he may become vulnerable to the batsmen

    you never noe yaar

    anything can happen in cricket

  11. One never knows the future.

He is an interesting bowler. Just now he is creating quite a sensation.  Like Gautam can read him well. So can Sehwag. Not to forget Ishant and Zaheer.

Maybe when the players get used  to him, he will be less offensive.

  12. I don't want to jinx anything by looking into his future and predicting promising things.

But can you just imagine if he keeps getting the same amount of wickets he's getting right now. he get's more than 2 wickets an innings and his economy rate is really good too. it's almost unreal.

I don't think Mendis will be able to survive on Aussie pitches however, that'll be the decider of him.
