How many of you touch your window to see what the temperature is like outside?

It's not informative given German double glazing standards.  The temperature difference between the inner side of the window and the external one can be extreme.

I have done, but it's a mistake. You just have the glass conducting your heat and it tricks you. Especially if it's out of the sunshine.

I do! That's how I do it almost everyday. I like it when it's cold outside, and you get that shiver down your spine!
