  1. My first child was allergic to disposable diapers, so we used cloth.  14 months later came baby #2, and it seemed silly to use both, so they both used cloth diapers.  Babies 3,4 and 17 years later #5 all got disposables.  It is so much easier.

Also, disposable diapers today, and those of 20 years ago are very different.  The work so much better, keep baby perfectly dry, and diaper rash appears to be a thing of the past.

  2. yes! My husband and I use them on our son, we love them! We use the Happy Heinies one size cloth diapers and so far they've been excellent - no more leaks than disposables and really not at all difficult to care for. Plus we feel so much better about the reduced waste and know that in the long run we're saving money.

  3. I do, as of recently.  "Obber" sent me some in the mail (yes, guys, she's secretly nice).  I love them!  I had to buy a few extra to get me through the day- I typically go through 10-12 diapers a day, and poops were a bit confusing at first.  But with a little practice, I got it down pat and I no longer feel guilty every time I change a butt.

It's way cheaper, and I don't have lame-o characters parading around on my son's privates, either.

For the record, though, I still bring disposables on long outings, just in case.

  4. I have some Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers for my 7 month old daughter. We only use them occasionally, because disposables are so much easier. But for cloth diapers, they are great. I just don't want to have to deal with them.

  5. I've used them for three babies and I love them!  My faves are Green Acre Design (GADs) fleece pockets and Kissaluvs.  Prefolds are nice, too.  I knit my own wool soakers (not at all scratchy).  Cloth is great!

  6. I do, and I love it.

We use cloth diapers exclusively.  My boy hasn't had a disposable on his bum for weeks.  For those saying disposables are easier, I have to disagree.  The only thing harder about cloth diapers is doing an extra load of laundry every other day.  Other than that, the cloth diapers are better looking, better on baby's behind (less diaper rash), and will not ruin the environment.  I was disgusted by how many disposable diapers would build up in just a day or two.

  7. I use them and I love them!

I bought a couple of Kushies but then decided that they were probably easy to make and they were! So I have been sewing them like crazy and I finally have enough to use just cloth!

They are so much better for baby and the environment!
