How many of you who are pregnant are having girls or boys and what is your stomach shaped like?

I ask this b/c there are lots of people who say if your're carrying high and pointy it's a boy and if you are carrying low and round it's a girl; Just wanted to know your opinions.

Well, lots of random ppl and friends and family as well all guessed that i was having a boy before i even knew! Some women would come up to me and say "you must be having a boy- your carrying the same way i did with my little boy".  Other signs was that my ear lobes were pink- apparently if they were white it was a girl (that could be the opposite,l i cant remember)

I have been carrying high and quite pointy -depending how he's sitting  on the day.

Yah I've heard that there is not much truth to this wives tale.  Our nurse told us since the heart rate was fast, it was a girl.  Guess what? She was wrong..and so was that Chinese calendar thingy. I'm having a boy.  I'm 5 months along and not showing as much as I thought I'd be.  In fact, someone today had no idea I was pregnant..LOL

Don't believe all the hype though. You'll get a better idea at 18-20 weeks when you have your ultrasound. : )  Then, let the shopping begin!! : )

BY THE WAY -- WILL WORK FOR FOOD.....don't put her as your favorite answer because she posted in another post that she is 13 years old and just had a baby. Now she says she's pregnant with SIX?   LOL!

I'm having a boy and it looks like I stuck a huge beach ball in my shirt....and it goes high or low depending on where he wants to hang out at.

its all myths. in the beginning i supposedly was carrying high so it was a boy and now I'm defiantly a low pumpkin and proud of it lol and everyone says oh well of course you look that way that's what boys do to you. i have also heard girls make you add weight in your thighs and butt. so do boys. cause that's where all my weight has gone. belly shape has nothing to do with it. each persons belly is different =]

Im having a boy and its more in the middle then anything but out of high and low, more high, and its round not pointy. Everyone carries different it depends on your body type, all those wivestales are bullcrap.

I've only carried a girl, but this was my experience:

I carried low and all around.  Like a watermelon.
