How many of your friends don't seem like real friends?

I have this friend named Jasmine who never seems like a real friend. She gossips a lot. Mostly I need advice on what to do.

I am going through a similar situation. I have learned that with friends like that its not even worth wasting your time. Let her gossip all she wants, just limit yourself in the things you tell her.

Trust your intuition. Get in tuned with yourself. You have to like yourself before you can like anybody else and them in return. This will also help you raise the bar as far as friends go, if you hafta walk on eggshells around your friends for them to like you..they are not friends, friends stick together thru thick and thin. They have each other's backs.

You have your whole life to make friends and some people you automatically know are not real friends and others..well it takes some time to know if their a true friend or not. Sounds to me like you should just stop being Jasmine's friend. I had a friend who at first seemed like a real friend then i found out who she really was and how she lied through her teeth EVERY day. Unlike you i stayed her friend and one day she spread a reallyyyy bad rumor about me that involved my parents & her parents & the principal. Why? Because it was all a lie. So i suggest you drop this girl as a friend before she hurts you emotionally/mentally. I'm sure you have other real friends who are worth your time =]
