I already have the amps, and need to know if i need to buy the 4 ohm dual voice coil 15's or the 2 ohm ones. Also need to know how to wire them and if i need to do anything to my car to get this working. I am new to car audio and want to make sure I dont damage anything down the line doing this wrong. Thanks in advance.

  1. get the 2 ohms subs they will have a deeper bass and hit harder.

and they will  be closer to being in a stable ohm status

  2. Two 2 ohm DVC subs can be wired for 2 ohm. The amp musn't exceed the RMS rating of both subs combined at 2 ohm.

  3. To get the most out of your amp you need to buy the 4 ohm Speakers. This is why, You are going to run one speaker for each amp, Right? If you buy the 4 ohm speakers and run the voice coils in parallel, you will have a 2 ohm load per amp. Your amps are rated at 2 ohms so you will get the most out of them. If you get the 2 ohm speakers, you will not be able to run them parallel to each amp because will be running a 1 ohm load which will cause the amp to shut down or maybe damage it. If you run the 2 ohm speakers in series you will run a 4 ohm load not getting all you can from the amp, wasting power. So go with the 4 ohm DVC's. If you need more info email me..
