I am right now in the doghouse for refusing to go buy some.. it wouldn't be as bad if there were some other products to hide them with, but they were the only things

  1. I've never had a problem doing it.  Here's what I think about while doing it: all these men seeing me with a package of pads know that I have a woman at home, which is more than many can say.  All the women who see me think, "Aw, what a sweet husband."  And that makes me feel good, too.  But ultimately, I'm an adult and I don't need a self-serving reason to do this for my wife.  You need to grow up, too.

  2. lol .... do you worry you'll look under the thumb... oh dear

  3. Really- its no big deal. No one is going to even look at you, and your wife would be very appreciative of it and know that you care about her! If you are still concerned about it, then just buy a few other things too! My husband has had to buy them a few times and it really wasn't even an issue.

  4. Would you rather buy some cream for a yeast infection or tampons? Suck it up man. If she really needed you to go to the store she had a good reason. I never ask my husband to do it. Some things should be off limits. I'm not buying condoms and I don't expect him to buy tampons for me.

  5. my husband does, he knows people are not going to think he's on his period.

  6. Oh PLEASE - that is so chauvinistic and childish.  I buy my husbands underwear, deodorant, foot cream, razor blades...... I could care LESS what anyone thinks about what I buy - but I could care less what people think of me anyway!

  7. I'm more embarrassed to buy tampons without buying anything else than my husband is! it doesn't bother him at all

  8. real men buy tampons.. lol

my hubby doesn't mind going for me.

  9. *ussy!!!  ny hubby does it...what's the big deal?

  10. My hubby goes for me, every time.

Actually, just last month he went and bought a pregnancy test for me too, lol.

    He's a real man. ;)

  11. If I ask my husband to purchase feminine products, he would do it.

I have seen many men in the female section before, don't be a punk

  12. What's the problem?  My husband never minded - he's like "hey, I've got a woman!"

  13. my husband would never and has never (18 years) went to the store for me for any of that, even if the cart was full.

  14. y does it matter...i bet u dont mind picking up a box of condoms.... so what's the difference just b/c pads and tampons caught blood??? get over it buy em and ull stay out the dog house...my hubby knows what kind and how many lol

  15. Mine does, he even gets the right kind :) It's no big deal. She could be asking you to buy much more embarrassing things, like maybe some lube, a 6 pack of enemas, and some Preparation H, right?

See, now tampons don't sound so bad. Go ahead and buy the jumbo pack while you're at it.

  16. Gucci S!! What's with you people insulting punks today!?

My husband is a punk and he is always up for running out to get products for me mensies.

Although I have to grab the old package and show it to him carefully "look, this one.. in the -green- package. The one that says petite, not ultra/heavy..." lol, such a sweetie.

He always grabs me some chocolate at the store too. Perfect man, he has never had a problem with it. It is a part of everyday life and he knows that I'm in pain and don't want to move. I'm sure she wouldn't mind getting you chicken soup while you were sick.

  17. My poor husband lol...here is the list of stuff he won't buy..

    Tampons

    Kotex

    Midol

    Monostat

    K-Y jelly

    nail polish remover

Preparation H -not a feminine thing however he just won't.....

He gets so embarrassed over it I don't push it.....now my Dad, he would buy them.

he was this burly looking irishman & ex-marine..and every time he put them on the counter he'd say the same thing..

'Don't look at me, they ain't mine..."

Now, THAT'S a REAL MAN......must be all that marine training..they're so tough they can even stand in line with a box of Tampax.....

  18. You wuss.

  19. to first poster... LMAO...

anyway grow up... sheesh you aren't the first man to have to walk into a drug store and buy a box of tampons (come on say it with me now... TAM-PONS) and you certianly won't be the last...

  20. Everyone that sees you with it will assume they aren't for you, so what's the big deal? Grow up.

  21. WHY, do you think that the clerk is going to think they are for you?  If anything it makes you look like a more confident man who would do anything for someone they love.

My husband has no problem.  But then again my husband is the man.  He gets hit on everytime he goes to the store.

    MAN UP!

  22. Well, next time you need to buy condoms make her go buy em.

  23. My husband and i talked about this.  Years ago, he used to be like you, and refused to buy them.  But then he saw something about it that made sense to him.  If a man goes to a store and buys feminine hygiene products, then apparently he has a woman in his life, he is not a "loser single guy without a chick" so he sees it as a bragging thing to buy them.....look at me...I am getting some!  maybe think of it that way

  24. I wouldn't ask my wife to buy condoms, and, would prefer not to buy feminine products for her.

  25. Know what it says to other men when a guy buys tampons?  "I may not be getting any right now, but I WILL get some in a few days".  Grow up.
