You know, it's there near the center of your vision whenever you look at something bright, but you can never look directly at it... I know I'm not the only one, because Stewie Griffin wrote about it in his "final words" (remember the episode where he thought he was going to die of skin cancer?) so how many other peopl have that?

  1. You may be describing what is commonly called a "floater" which is like a piece of black string that floats over the front of your eye.  Your eye doctor can advise you.

  2. What you are describing is called a floater, which is basically a build up of debris in the vitreous fluid.

They are not life or sight threatening but are a hinderance. They can occasionally be a symptom of other things such as vitreous separation which again is normal in older people, and less so in younger people.

Myself, I was one of the unlucky ones and it turned out to be more serious so I would advise to get it checked out to be on the safe side. Most people have them with no problems however.

  3. actually, it's bacteria. There are millions of them on your eyes and all over your body. Close your eyes, you'll see other shapes of things too, not just "squiggly".

Take a microbiology class, they will tell you all about the things in your eyes.
