  1. I'm not sure if this is considered farming, well I guess it is, but I am a fruit farmer. I grow almost every type of fruit. It's very fun, my mom started the whole thing.

  2. Alfalfa, corn, and soybeans here.

  3. I'm a farmer.  No animals though.  I produce almonds, winegrapes, alfalfa hay and within my family we produce processing tomatoes, dry lima beans, melons, fresh tomatoes, brocolli, olives (oil), and some spices.

  4. "Man is the religious animal.... He is the only animal who has the true religion -- several of them. He is the only animal who sits together with his enemy, betrays and finally eats him. He is the only animal who loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat, if his theology isn't straight. He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brother's path to happiness and heaven.''

  5. We own a farm, approximately 1800 hectares.  I don't live their all year, only about 2-3 months total. We produce sugar, rice, corn, fruits, vegetables, spices. We breed water buffalo not for meat or for dairy but conservation. (the species is threatened). Our farm workers are allowed to grow and raise their own produce and livestock for their own or commercial use. The farm is a self sustained community with it's own schools (up to high school) hospital/medical services, security/police force water and electrical cooperative etc.

  6. I lived on a farm when I was younger.  We raised chickens, rabbits, ducks, geese, and goats.
