How many outfits should a 6 yr old (girl) have for winter?

Opinions needed. Last winter and this summer was insane. I have 4 kids and they all had way to much clothing. So I wanted to see what others thought. How many clothes will you daughter have this winter? Include an amount of outfits, not including coats,sweaters,jammies, and dresses. I ask this because laundry is a issue. In the past winter and this summer I live in the laundry room so some advise would be nice. thanks

Kids grow so fast at that age.  I wouldn't bother with more then 6 or 7.

At least 7 outfits for the winter, that is what I remember having when i was younger and I make sure my boys have at least 7 that fit them too that way they can wear a clean outfit every day of the week then i wash on Sunday and can repeat.  They have more than 7 but they could do with just 7 if they have to.

Well I never really thought about it. I usually buy clothing based on what she needs or what I like.

I am so aware of the laundry thing. I have 5 kids! But this is what I do, After school, they must change out of their clothes to home clothes. We don't wash the school clothes unless it is dirty or if it's been worn 3 times. My son, is the worse bc he plays sports with school but also at home with friends, so he has c**p loads of clothing to wash.

However, during the winter, I'm very lucky that my children's clothing seldomly gets dirty, so it goes unwashed till the 3rd time she wears it.
