  1. 3 in the top 3 in the bottom

  2. 6 outs in an inning

  3. Three outs per team=6

  4. If it's the 9th inning of a road game and Cleveland is winning and Joe Borowski is on the mound, then there are 3 outs.

Top of the 9th, then in the bottom of the 9th, the home team walks and hits until they win the game and the team walks off the field.

Then Wedge says "hey, he saved 45 games for us last year"

Alright.  Let's see if I can make my list again, just for you.

Forgot there is a 2nd class for stupid questions, which aren't stupid if original, but are dumb because they've been asked a million times in the last 2 days.

  5. I'd have to agree with Scooter. People ask who will win the World Series in the OFFSEASON. That doesn't even make sense. So yeah, I thought that's a pretty dumb question. But there's 6 :)

  6. 6 outs in an inning with each team getting 3 outs each.  Is such and such a hall of famer and someone that will never see the hall of fame?

  7. 6 outs in an inning. 3 outs for each team.

How about.. why is baseball boring? What if a baseball player has to go to the bathroom and their in the field? How can a 13 year old make money? One user named Julia asked the same question like 100000 times. Oh and ANYTHING BY DORK.

  8. This would have to be one of the stupidest, since everybody knows each team will get 3 outs in an inning, for a total of 6, but I would highly doubt that I will be able to come up with an answer for the stupdiest question that was asked on here, that nobody came up with.

  9. 3 and this one is very close

  10. Six outs in an inning, excluding the last inning, which may have three. or less.

  11. Ok, i believe there are 3 outs in an inning. and i don't no the answer to your outher question. but if u want to learn more about baseball then go to a game. they are really fun/

  12. You ": Win "

    (  "stupidest" )-------Most Stupid

There are no stupid questions from people seeking knowledge .

  13. None, because if there were it would be called an outing. Complicated game, this baseball. Just compare the simplicity of cricket:

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that’s in the side that’s in the field goes out and when he’s out comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out. When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out. Sometimes, there are men still in and not out. There also are men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. Depending on the weather and the light, the umpires can also send everybody in, no matter if they’re in or out. When both sides have been in and all the men are out (including those who are not out), then the game is finished.

  14. Is so & so  hot & who will win the World Series during the off season & it's months away from happening. Makes no sense to me whatsoever. They are 6 outs in an inning.

  15. Six outs, three for each team.

"Why is baseball boring?"  Why would you even ask such thing in the BASEBALL section?

Anything asked by Rocco, particularly the ones about Ron Santo (I seem to remember a particular one asking how umpires would determine his strike zone).  Go bother another section.

"Do you think ____________ is hot?"  I don't care.

"Does Derek Jeter have a gf?"  Again, I don't care.

For a while all the questions about A-Rod and Madonna.  I don't freakin' care lol.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.  Oh, wait. There was this one question ranting about how soccer is harder and better than baseball, blah blah blah.

  16. 3 and this 1

  17. 3 outs per team except in the ninth when the home team is winning.

Everything on Brett's list is up there but to me the dumbest questions are the "Am I good?" questions.  If any of us could tell through a description given by a juvenile over the internet the quality of a player then we would not go to work any where but for a Major League team.  We can not tell you how to get better over the internet, we can not tell you what is wrong with you swing from three pictures that your mom took six blocks away from the plate.  People get paid a lot of money to analyze these types of things for a living for good reason, they are good at it and if we were good at it we would not be on a free website giving out advice we would be working to find these hidden gems of talent in the real world.
