How many pages a night do you read for AP Literature and Comp?

  1. It really all depends.  I took AP Lit many years ago, but my brother took it two years ago and the reading load was about the same, roughly 100 pages a night.  We had to read about a book a week and in addition to that we had to read author's points of views, critiques, reviews, etc.  It was certainly a lot of hard work but a lot of fun.  I passed the AP exam with a four and I think that was primarily because I kept up with the reading and I read with a highlighter and a notebook so I could jot down ideas as I read them.

Well, I took it many moons ago (like probably before you were born if you're in high school right now), but I normally read about 100-150 pages per night.  The exception was if we were studying poetry or foreign plays (Chekov, Shakespeare, etc.) in which case we normally had about 50 pages plus analysis per night.
