Do you think 22 pages, plus the title page, ect. is long enough for a beginning poetry book. That is all I have wrote now, but everyone tells me they are good, & I want to see if I have enough that I could try to get it published. Please read & comment at http://poetrypoem.com/cgi-bin/index.pl?&sitename=Harper&password=310331cYpJqt1M3pI.3103&item=home Thanks so much!

  1. i like it.

    you can do it.

it would be a short book but its a start to your career.

  2. I dig it!! Go for your dreams girl!!You can totally be published

  3. May I suggest that YOU or someone you trust (or both) edit your poetry without spell-check? There are properly spelled words in some of your work that are the "wrong" words. This would of course be "overlooked" by a spell-check function since the words are "properly" spelled but used in the wrong contexts in your work.

A careful SLOW reading and editing without spell-check will catch these errors. No one likes to be embarrassed by presenting original work that is not error-free.

You never know when a professional editor, publisher or literary agent may read your work and take an interest in it.

Especially, today, when the advances in technology allows world-wide distribution networks.

Professionals will not waste time reading "good" material with spelling and grammar errors, no matter  how  compelling the subject. This is  true whether the written piece is a novel, short story, essay, op-ed, or poetry.

Not written to discourage you. You have a great deal of potential as a poetess.

  4. oooooooooo going for your dreams nice .........
