  1. it depends on how many main points you have for the subject. but mostly 5 paragraphs : introduction,3 main points, conclusion. but if you have more than like 3 man points. then you will have more than 5 paragraphs.

  2. Depends on your grade level, but 5 is generally accepted.  One intro, three supporting, and one concluding paragraph.

  3. Generally 3 to 5. You need your intro and conclusion paragraphs, and then the details in the inside.

  4. About 3-5, but it really depends.

  5. You need your intro and conclusion paragraphs and the details or the supporting paragraphs which is the average of 3 paragaphs

  6. it depends. most of the time 5

    1. intro.

    2. one subject of the topic

    3. different subject of the topic

    4. yet again another one

    5. closing

  7. An essay is a short story basically. It needs an introduction, a 'middle bit', and a conclusion. Generally 5 paragraphs would do it but you could go as far as seven depending on topic, content and length..

In your introduction tell them what you;re going to tell them. In the middle tell them what you want to tell them and in conclusion tell them what you've told them. Make your essay interesting and punchy so that the reader is riveted from the beginning right to the end. Don't finish lamely. Make your conclusion thought provoking.
