You didn't mention where you're coming from so don't know the exact number but the standard is usually 200 cigarettes per person.

Because you're travelling to the US, you'd be importing cigarettes to the US so come to think of it - it doesn't matter where you're coming from.

Therefore for non-residents of USA coming to US you can only bring 200 cigarettes per person (provided you're 21 years or older) in order to avoid duty tax. I think that's standard in most countries.

If you're from the EU traveling to the USA, it's 400 cigarettes.
