Obviously, this depends on one's mode of playing, but still, a rough average (or even a range) will do.

  1. Well as everyone else has stated. It depends on how you play. Me and my friends play about 20-30minute games and one high-cap mag can keep me going. I would say if you have an automatic about 500BBs perminute unles you are trigger happy. If you have a springer probably about 200 BBs every half hour. If you are planning on playing for about 4 hours I would take with you a container of 5000 BBs.

I hope this helped you and please rate.

  2. It really depends on the player and the type of game played. Also, game rules such as limit on ammunition and magazine types can change the amount of BBs used in a day. Example: a mil sim game forcing everyone to use low caps will tend to drop the amount of BBs used in a day.  I usually fall in under a designated marksman, sniper role.

Just a warning: The following numbers are the averages my teammate and I will see during local milsim games with very generous limit on magazine types and ammunition and a full day of playing (8+ hours). As you can figure, I sit on the lower end of the spectrum for BB output and he sits at the higher end. These numbers are only an example + estimation. Other people's BB counts may vary.

In a mil sim game as a DM, I will fire 200, 300 bbs on a day with a lot of contact, and I mean alot. Often, 100 BBs is about right for me. As a sniper, I rarely will fire more than 50 in a full day, as my job is more oriented towards providing intelligence and knocking more important targets. My buddy fills the role of spotter, support gunner, and a rifleman. As my spotter, he may go through 200-350 BBs if we're unfortunate enough to be caught repeatedly. Often, if we are undetected the whole day, he may let off about as many BBs as I do. In a rifleman position, the number can jump anywhere from 300-1000 depending on the amount of contact and how much contact he has with the enemy. As a support gunner, I've seen him go through 2000-3000 bbs in a day, easily. The number tends to go up a little more if it's a day of skirmishing at the local paintball field. Really it's hard to say as it is up to a persons play style and the scenario of the day. In general, the hierarchy of ammunition users go like this

    Support Gunners

    Riflemen

    Designated Marksmen

    Snipers/Spotters

  3. i would say it depends on how fast of a gun u have, if it fires so fast that all u see is a line then u need a ton of bbs, also if ur playing style is more of a pray and spray or a semi auto sharp shooter, only once u play with ur gun will u no how much U need. but intell u find out bring a lot

  4. Riflemen- About if it was a real airsoft game lasting 4-6 hours 4000 bbs i think it all depends.

Sniper-I would say 500 at lest if the gun is bolt action.

    Support-Is a c**p load bing a lot of bbs.

Lets see that is all I got.
