  1. Yep...My "real" children were lonely and they were sick of playing together so we adopted them a "fake" brother.

Hey Genius...leave the parenting to people that know what the h**l they are doing. We don't need more of you out in society so please DON'T reproduce!

  2. thats not a good reason to adopt a child at all, but i mean as long as u have the financial means and the love to provide that child with what they need i suppose its alright,

  3. um WOW!!!!

What kind of question is this sapposed to be?

    That would be CRUEL

My son was adopted...I hope that he will be REAL to the family that adopted him.

    He was REAL to me!!!

Hey What is a REAL child?

I thought everyone adopted or not were real

  4. My adopted son and daughter are my REAL children. I bathe them, kiss their boo-boos, clean up their vomit, kiss them goodnight, and love them. You can't much more REAL than that.

  5. that is not a reason to adopt, buy the kid a toy not a human

  6. "real child" as opposed to [adopted] child?

    that's a joke......right?

    (right?????)

  7. I hope not.  thats a terrible reason to adopt

  8. Don't you know that is why all people adopt who already have "REAL" children!

This question is just wrong on so many levels.

  9. Why dont you just have another bio child for the "real" child to have someone to play with..And hopefully you did not adopt just so your bio child could have a playmate..Thats a dumb reason..

  10. Yes, Lillie there MUST be a full moon.

Silly question gets a silly answer in my book.

Thats what i said booty traps!

  11. This does happen.  Not quite in the way you worded it, but more like:

I have a 3 year old, I'd love to adopt another 2-3 year old child so that they can grow up best friends.

A sweet sentiment, but it often doesn't work out that way.  Adopting a child to be a companion for a child already in your family is not a good idea.  It's also not a good reason to adopt.

Hopefully, these people become educated or screened out in the adoption process.

  12. If this was your reason for adopting then no wonder it didn't work out.  Perhaps you should have opted for a new car instead of a new kid.

       Freckles, The Goonies LOL

  13. I hope nobody has done that. It's a bit 1500's.

  14. Its a REAL problem especially with international adoptions.

  15. I hope no one.

  16. real child? Are you telling me that because someone doesn't give birth to a child that they love and care for they are not real?  I'm sorry but you should not adopted a child.

  17. Ohhhh.... I'm adopted, does that mean I get to be imaginary???

I hope you don't have children, and I really hope you never adopt.

If that's the way you think, go get a robot.

I wouldn't even trust you with a goldfish, let alone a dog.

  18. I did just the opposite.  I always wanted to adopt, and didn't because my son wanted to be the "only grandchild".  Since that time, my sister had a child, and recently, I was offered a newborn to adopt, and jumped on the chance.  My 19 year old, who has chosen to live with my mom to take care of her after my dad's death, is a wonderful brother, and we have shared the news that we'd like to have a sister or brother again, and he's excited!

  19. Aha! I wasn't born, I was adopted! I always knew I wasn't real

Yes, I've seen people ask questions about adopting another child 'for' their natural child.   Adoptees - our purpose in life is to serve don't you know
