For every gallon of paint, there is 1/3 gallon of drinking water, ( 1/2 a billion gallons a year wasted) for every gallon of Anti-Freeze, there is 1/2 gallon of Drinking Water, ( 1/2 a Billion Gallons a year wasted) For every Gallon of ?, startfilling in your ideas. just imagine how many products are made with Drinking Water that can be replaced with Recycled Water, Recycled water quality that has been used for decades to irrigate our edible food crops. The Federal Recycled Water Quality Standards, assure that the Class A ( abundant) Grade is suitable for these products and more. This is a Common sense approach to Water Conservation. But, Big Business has the spigot, and Drinking water is the least exensive part of their products cost, they will not consider change unless the public becomes aware of it and voices their opinion.

here is an example of who, what, where, when and Why http://www.vitabrewcoffee.com/water.html you can make a difference with an e-mail

  1. Drinking water is also recycled through the natural weather system.  Where of you think it comes from anyway?

  2. The biggest waste of drinking water is people watering their lawn. Anyway, it is all water and all comes from the same place and gets dumped back into the same place eventually. The only difference is how it gets treated. So is it cheaper to make a bigger treatment plant to purify river water for all uses or to make a second set of pipes to use untreated or reclaimed water for purposes where it will do? It depends on the specific circumstance. Drinking water is renewable you know.

  3. Very much aware

but not just big business ,everybody

the wars of the future, after the new World Order one ,will be over water .

Already in Tasmania you can change one liter of water for 2 liters of petrol

And there are all sorts of scandals emerging about the quality of bottled water .

Much of which comes from dams and rivers ,which are contaminated with agro chemicals washed into the waters because of deforestation and the huge quantities of chemicals people discard which find their way into the water systems

And the World is facing a global potable (quality)water shortage .

regular purification methods do not alter PH levels .

Poor regions are hit the hardest because governments do not spend enough on securing quality water for them

In Mexico and many other places people are forced to drink contaminated water because if they did not they would die of thirst.

Its easy to say that the water is renewable .

In the first place a lot is wasted into the rivers and seas ,no where near enough is harvested to keep up with population growth.

And the biggest quantities we got ,which is the worlds ice (75% of all the potable water ) is lost due to melt down into the seas

The only really pure quality water comes from high up in the mountains ,also diminished because of loss of mountain snow and glaziers (due to climate change)
