How many people are stil in New Orleans?

With the Gustav Hurricane coming, is there any people that refuse to evacuate? If so, how many? Is there a number?

Now i read that this is stronger than Katrina and it will be very very strong.

I think most people have left New Orleans. They were much better organized this time around. This morning, 08/31/08, they have a mandatory evacuation for the North Shore of Lake Ponchartrain at 7:00 A.M. That's where I live. We are getting ready to leave now. This storm looks very bad and more people are leaving for this storm than they did for Katrina.

As I type this on Sunday morning, Guvtav is expected to make landfall as a Category 3.  Katrina was a C5.  Hopefully it will lose strength before landfall and not be so horrible.

It's a Ghost Town in New Orleans, LA. This storm will make landfall on Monday afternoon around 1:00 p.m. It will make landfall as a Cat.3 or 4. The winds will make the storm strong; That's why it'll be stronger than Katrina.
