  2. I'm not tired of it. I hope they do it more often to fuel my anger. At one point it will be payback time!

  7. the gov't should keep secrets from us. we have too many rights in america!!

  8. Yes but how, the two party system is like an huge dragon with two heads and  they both are headed in the wrong direction, and the only change they want if any is a change from a socialist system toward a Marxists type system and most people don't have a foothold among the plutonianists (that means wealthy run government or elitist type) most Ideas are thought and kept from the general public because if we knew exactly what they were up to I think they would have a fight on their hands. Good question the only thing is is that in this country you could ask this sort of question with out fear of jail or worse. bi the way you added to your question while I was putting the baby down and I'll have to see the rest

  9. I'm not. It's exciting!

  10. The US has the most open, transparent and accountable government in the world.

Anyone who thinks otherwise has been seriously misinformed.

There are "secrets" of course that are matters of national security that are properly kept from the public because they also need to be kept from foreign enemies.

An example of this would be the plans for nuclear weapons, advanced weapons that we use to defend ourselves, the identity of our own intelligence agents or foreign agents who help us for fear that they might be harmed, etc.

There are other records, such as your personal files, that are never released for privacy concerns.

Some records that the government has a right to review are kept confidential because they contain proprietary information belonging to one person or company that should not be released to that company's competitors.

    These are reasonable restraints.

Most government records are either easily available, many on-line, or are obtainable by through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

It is astonishing what is available to a reasonably good researcher.

BTW, Google is useless in most cases for serious research.
