  1. usally 10- 12 people  you need at least 2 setters  2 middles 2 strong side hitters and 2 good defensive players 2  or 3 average hitters

  2. my school has 8 people, but it's usually different for year to year. and schools vary to i think.

  3. my high school had like 15 people, idk if thats normal, there about 2,000 people there

  4. Yes, private schools are a lot better, I would say. In NYC, what happens is that the public school's 1st place winner of the state would have to challenge the private school's 1st place winner. usually the private schools win.

  5. They generally are from 8 to 15, with 6 girls on the court at a time. The smaller the highschool, the less of a chance they will cut. This means bigger teams.

  6. in smaller schools such as mine it ranges from 15-20. we have all the players we need so we have a jv and varsity team and its very fun. volleyball rocks <3Gabbs

  7. My team dresses 18 girls--about 8 to 10 get to play.  And only 6 can be on the court at a time.  The high school has about 1500 people.  The coach dresses so many girls to give them varsity experience.

  8. 6 usually but some schools will have nine if they are bigger.

  9. my school had like 13. and it was alot. usually its alittle more than 6 so people can sub in but probablyt he max is near 12.
