  1. there can be from 9 to 11 girls.

  2. Well, there should be at least around 10 people (and/or more) or else that would be a messed up team, you need 6 people on the court and then a few extra in case.

  3. 12-14 is my guess. but every coach is different :)

  4. 10-12 on most teams

  5. Most teams are about 11 to 12 people... But some teams are about 9...

  6. Like 10-14.

  7. that maximum is 15 but most coaches don't want that many she will probably keep about 12 because it is a good number for practice. good luck!!

    hope i helped!

  8. At my school we have 10 on varsity and 14 on JV :D

  9. Our high school varsity team held about 12 to 14...one sub for each player and some backups just in case somebody gets hurt. That makes sense. It may not be what every high school does, but it does make loads of sense.

  10. 24 most of the time, 12 for varsity and 12 for JV, they have 6 subs each...

  11. Around 12 people usually. Good Luck!

  12. probably about 10-12 people

thats how many they took for my varsity

  13. they normally take around 12 players. it makes scrimmages in practice possible to help players get experience. some coaches will take less because of the issue of playing time. its easier for the coach to decide who plays that way.

  14. I was on a girls volleyball team and about 12 girls were on the team. But it all depends on what the coach prefers and how many girls that tried out actually have potential. It also makes practice a little more expanded with 12 girls because it gives the team a chance to play practice games against each other. So yea. hope that helps

  15. they usually will take 12 girls but some coaches take less to avoid the whole playing time issue....

***hope i helped and good luck!!!

  16. Usually around 12. But there could always be more or less. I've been on a team with 8 and a team with 15. So it depends on the coach the the talent. But generally they take about 12. But I think the limit is like 18.

  17. Usually cocahes take about 9-12, depending on the skill level of the team if you have 6 really good people, you'll have maybe 8 or 9 people to use as subs. If no one is an exceptional player, then maybe you'll have about 10-12 players.

  18. I've seen teams with the minimum amount, 6, but usually there are 10-12 people. Most of the time they try to have 12 so that they can have plenty of subs and don't risk having to forfeit if someone gets hurt or sick. Sometimes, not enough people try out though or they don't have enough people that are good so they have to have less. Also, another reason that a lot of teams prefer to have 12 is because it is easier to do drills or divide into teams for a competition drill or scrimmage. I hope I helped and good luck in tryouts! Volleyball is a lot of fun!
