But there's a Union strike for the "support staff" which includes the secetaries (they do attendance & set up machines that call home when your away ) so.. i could just not go ..:)

One of my co-workers actually called me this morning asking me if I was coming in or if he should say that I gained some rare and Northern like disease (I'm down here in the South).

Of course I came in 15 minutes late.  My boss just looked at the circles under my eyes and shook his head.  I'm off the hook for being unproductive today.

I am on a contract and only have a week left, I also live on the east coast.  I am staying with this game until the end even if it costs me a weeks pay.  

For the folks in Michigan, I think it depends on how the game ends.  If they win the cup they are going to be more forgiving than if they are going to be late for work on Thursday on top of Tuesday.
