How many people at the Manly v Roosters game, 25,000??

The AFL got 86,000 for Cats v Hawks last night, how many will turn up for Manly and the Roosters on Sunday, I 've heard they are letting kids in for free to bolster the crowd!!! No wonder NRL is on it's knees in Sydney, the fans don't care. I saw Fittler on the TV promoting the game, c'mon 1 v 4 and you need to promote with free entry!!

You AFL guys go on and on about crowd figures, but all it proves is that rugby league fans prefer to watch the game on TV!  And surprise surprise League's TV ratings are way better than AFL's!

  You can get 90,000 to an AFL game, but if 1,000,000 watch the NRL on TV, we win.  :)

One of the main reasons AFL crowds are better than NRL crowds is because the quality of the tv coverage of the NRL is far superior to the quality of the tv coverage in the AFL!

I think the crowd will be similar to the figure you have cited, it'll be in the order of 25,000.

I will be going to the game. Sydney crowds normally average about 10 to 15 thousand now days which is way less than the Afl. As a Roosters member i keep getting sent Emails and Sunday is a kids to get in for free day.
