HE didn't kill anyone that they know of.  He brainwashed his followers into killing for him.  I think it was 5 people that his group claimed to have killed but they are now looking into some more that they think the group may have killed.

Charles Manson didn't kill anyone himself, he had his followers do it for him, since they thought that he was God and that what he was telling them was real.   As for how many all together I think it was four or five and if he didn't have Sharon Tate murdered it might have taken longer to figure out what had happen. This coming Friday night on the Discovery investigation channel if you can get it at nine pm they have the Sharon Tate killing, its  a program called the Death of an Icon it will tell you all about what he thought he was doing and why he said he did it.
