How many people died in Iraq since 2001?

how many service persons have died in Iraq since the start of the conflict.

Far less than have died on our nations highways. Way less than have died of cancer. 1/4 more than died in a single day on 9-11.

then there are the 100k+ Iraqis who we "liberated" to heaven as well

Close to 4,200 Americans soldiers and thousands upon thousands of uncounted and unaccounted-for Iraqi people.

I work at an airforce base hospital for the sleep lab department and many of the soldiers say the reports that come out have to be false about how many people have died.  They said it seemed like everyday where there was 1 or 2 bodies coming in dead.  I don't believe the reports.
