How many people do you know that wear diapers to school?

Hey, my daughter Spina Bifida, and wears diapers to school, today me and wife went to the school to talk to the Prinicipal, nice lady, very open, and she says that my daughter is not the only girl in school if it. I know that her cousin has it and there in the same class. Anyway no alot of people at a school who wear diapers?

If the child has some challenges (physical or mental), then I can see it, but an able bodied child? Generally no...they would have been toilet trained long since. After all, preschools and day cares typically won't accept a child that has not been toilet trained. While schools don't have the option of turning away students like preschools and day cares do, the requirements of the latter two would generally see few children in the former wearing them.

If she has a disablity then yes i have come across quite a few children like it. If its the development process of the child then encourage and im sure she'll grow out of it. Do not worry but try and encourage other ways around it.

If someone does wear diapers they hide it very well.  I don't know of any students that wear diapers.

Yes actually I do.  I know 2 children with Spina Bifida that wear diapers.  I know of one child that just has anxiety problems and wears them and he is 8.  Used to teach!
