How many people do you personally know that you really respect?

Question

I'm not talking people you met for ten minutes or have heard speak once. And I'm not talking about people you like (though you can like them).

I personally don't know a lot of people, but there isn't anyone I know for whom I have great esteem. And I don't like a lot of people either; I think I like the idea of people a lot more than actual people.

I have some respect for a few of my college teachers. But off the bat that's really it.

Sadly, there are very few people that I can say I truly respect. My pastor and my oldest sister might be the only 2 that I TRULY respect.

Yeah...people are overrated.  Most of my real friends are just avatars.
