How many people do you think, know that plastic is endangering our Eco system killing wildlife ?

Like our fish and birds by filling their stomach up with waste, thereby reducing nutritional intake of these incredible creature and causing them to die of malnutrition?

Do they know that plastics leak water soluable chemicals into the water shed...and perhaps baby bottles too?

Personally, I think alot of people are aware of it but just simply don't care about life itself neither for themselves. Basically this world is brought on GREED. Some think its just convenient and feel what the heck!!!! I wish more people would become more on the "Go Green" population but until then this is just how the cookie crumbles. Its sad to see how this beautiful creation was made once then with respect and honor now we are just bombarded with self minded people who don't care unless it came close to home. (You know what I mean?)

Most people are more concerned with other things. Whether we like it or not, conservation takes a back seat to many of the other aspects to the business of living.

Plastics are a miracle material, and there are thousands of varieties- not all leach chemicals. Some are designed specifically to be chemically stable and not to leach into the contents.

  Some people care, some do not. Some are too poor to be able to afford to care, and some are wealthy enough to effect change where it is necessary. We all have to figure where we fit in .

I think a lot of people don't have the awareness of plastic being something that "leaches".   Also, I think there are tons of sloppy, lazy people who don't pick up after themselves, hence the danger to wildlife.  Go to any park or lake and see how much trash is lying around.    I think plastic could be less of a danger to wildlife if public parks put recycling cans in the right places.

I know the European Union manage to use plastics without added toxic chemicals such as pthalates. Many chemicals in plastics have been banned in the EU as a matter of fact.

Im not sure how safe plastics can be. I would like to know where you get your information. I could be misinformed. Do you mind emailing me?

I DISAGREE= IF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR PLASTICS  YOU  WOULD'NT HAVE A PROBLEM. ITS LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE. IF YOU CAN'T TAKE CARE OF IT RIGHT, THEN ITS NOT THE PLASTICS ITS THE PERSON THAT SHOWS DISREGARD FOR PLASTICS. I'VE BEEN USEING PLASTICS EVER SINCE ITS BEEN MASS PRODUCED AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM, BECAUSE I TAKE CARE OF IT. GEE I WONDER WHAT YOUR GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT NEXT?
