I'm having a party for my son (deployed to Baghdad in June) and I've invited about 125 people. I'm having hot dogs, chicken fingers, sausage & peppers. I was wondering how many pounds of roast beef to get for hot sandwiches to round out the selection. (I'll have the usual cold salads too). Thanks!

  1. the rule is 4 servings to a pound of meat.

  2. I always prepare to have at least 4 ounces per person. 4 servings per pound.

  3. Jeanie is right, unless you are going to make finger sandwiches, you could use quite a bit less and stretch your $$. Godbless to your son.

  4. Have you considered pulled pork BBQ sandwiches?

    Far more economical.

Here's a very easy recipe on this site.
