  1. The disrespect we get of the government,

England is a excellent host, but a **** mother

  2. Away from family, in with gf :)

  3. I just moved to england!

I'm American, my boyfriend is from Bristol.

My friend actually wants to move to America, go to Uni there and what not.

Once you finish year 11, make sure that you get into a college.

Do your A or AS Levels, or a full time 2 year course.

If you just have basic GCSE's, please go to College in the UK...it will make it A LOT easier for you.

THEN apply to American Uni's, and make sure that they have some kind of foreign exchange program for immigrants.

But if you do well in college, then I assume you can even get a scholarship to go to school in America.

Last but not least, once you're excepted into a Uni, you need to submit and application for a Student Visa.

Then you should be set, education is the best route in.

That's what I'm doing in the UK anway.

    Good Luck =)

  4. I do because my area is c**p

  5. I do... the uk government is rubbish.... I'd live in australia

  6. Well, I'd like to move into a larger flat!

  7. the stupid tax Lol

  8. I am determine to move to Canada and i will do it within the next 5 years or so.

Canada price wise is on par with England from the research i have done, but it IS a better standard of living over there, it reminds me of England 10/15 years ago... where kids had respect for there elders and people had time to say hello to one another. It has beautiful scenery (so does parts of England) and the seasons are 'real' unlike the UK where we have 3 days of summer and the rest of the time we have rain and floods...

Me and my partner have travelled to Canada a lot over the past few years and i just can't get enough of the place, i fall in love with it and it's people all over again every time i go.

Because my trade is not that sought after in Canada we will hope to go on my hubby's trade as a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, we are saving up at the minute to start our new life and from scratch we would need minimum £20,000 in the bank... happy saving lol.

Good luck with all you do !

  9. i failed my gcse's but re-did them at college, im going on a working gap year after i finish, so i can get life experience and travel and eventually settle down in America. I want to move because i feel it is a better life style than living in England.

  10. I would love to move to either the US or Australia, i hate this country;

    The Weather

    Tax

    Wages

    House Prices

    Crime

    Government

Just to name a few lol.

  11. If you'd asked this question 2 years ago I would've been the first to say I want to move from the UK!  Now, however, I'm living in Germany and I'm getting homesick for Britain!  Don't ask why, everyone says I'm bonkers!!  I think a break away is excellent to have if you can do it but it certainly makes you appreciate what the UK has to offer (spiralling costs, numpty politicians, ASBOs aside)!

  12. with GCSEs you could prob go to America and have the skills of their average 18 year old.

I wouldn't move, the UK is still one of the best countries to live in imo
