How many people hate thier dad?

I really hate my dad because he is always angry and self-fish and a lot of things. if it was not for the money i would need him.

I love my dad, but sometimes I wish he would be more daddish if you know what I mean. I mean when we were little he used to do alot of fatherish things, but now he just goes to work comes home goes on the computer, sleep and what not. I guess its because were older now.

I have a step-dad because my dad is an ***.

I really hate him because he never cared for me. He was an alcoholic, smoker, and as a kid he didn't want me to believe in the holiday characters (santa, easter bunny,etc.)

Also I had a little bro and I had to take care of him.

hate is a very strong word. you should appreciate the fact you even have a dad. My father was murdered when i was 4 weeks old and i never even got to know him. maybe theres a reson he acts the way he does. if you are angry you should have a talk with him and discuss the situation. saying that you need him just for the money is selfish of you...so maybe it runs in the family.

I do. mine is a verbaly abusive alcohalic. He was really selfish. He'd go out and buy stuff for him, like tools and car parts, and then my mom couldn't pay the bills on time. So I went out and got a job to help my mom out. Then my mom got divorced and I don't have to see or talk to my dad :D

THANK GOD. I swear, if I ever see him again and he has the nerve to yell at me again, I will set his house on fire. For all the pain he's caused in my family, he deserves to lose everything he has left.

I think God gave me the father I have so that I would turn to Him more than I would have if my father was always around.  And I love God and He's the only father anyone needs.  So, I'm happy and truly can't complain.  Thank you, Jesus for all you've done!!

I don't think I could HATE anyone but thanks to my dad...I owe the gov't $17,000....and this is something that isn't going away any time soon...I am no longer close to him like we once were...because of what he did to me has basically screwed my credit rating...and I don't think he's going to help  clear my name...so his #3 daughter will be able to get  back on her feet again.  I think this is defined as:TUFF LUV

I don't hate him but my dad pretty much acts the same as you say yours does. He barely provides for the family. And he's real selfish and stingy with money and doesn't act like a father at all or act as if my sister and I are HIS responsibility, just my mom's. And he says things that make me soo mad sometimes. I just wish he was a real father like all the other poeple I hear about with their dads and how good he is, etc. Or at least I wish I had another dad that I can feel close with and talk to and stuff. And since its impossible to have a relationship with him, I'm constantly thinking about what its like knowing that your dad loves you and all that good stuff. . .

My dad died 12 years ago.  You're a fool if you hate the person who is paying your bills.   And  as for the money...let me guess...you're a kid.  Grow up, get a job.  Understand that parents do the best the know how to do.

i love my dad. he supports me in everything and i appreciate how he makes ends meet and puts a roof over my head. instead of hating so much, love it'll be so much easier in life.

I guess I really don't hate my dad, just some of the decisions he has made.  The decisions he made did not include my brother and me.  Just his new wife and her kids.  It has been about 14 years, still not able to have a relationship with him, unless I kiss his wife's feet.

My dad is the greatest human on the face of the Earth. He is kind, caring, good cook, and a big fat allowance. lol =) (And everyone should love their dad!!!!!!!!!!!)
